IT is just amazing and everyone there will love it. To be vegan friendly, you have to use vegetable broth and earth balance in place of the butter. This has become a staple in our house where I am the only vegan... If you do a google search for vegan pumpkin pie, recipes abound. Just make sure if you buy a pre-made crust, that none of the ingredients came from animals. I would do this by phone with the brother or his girlfriend if I was you...It is always nice to be included in dessert...
