1. between 6-7 any later and people we be eating eachother out of hunger.
2. I like to invite people at 3 then dine at 4 . That way everyone has time to digest before bedtime.

4. anytime you want it to be . i serve mine depending on the football schedule for the day and i usually time it at a half time!!
5. My family usuall has it around 4:00 because we have been out and about visiting other family members that we are usually starved by then .

7. Try to serve this huge feast as early as possible, by 5 PM the latest. This will give everyone a chance to have pumpkin pie by 7 or 8 PM and digest all that food before going to bed.

We usually have it around one o'clock and then everyone makes up a leftover dinner to take home..I Usually take turkey meat and dressing home and some type of dessert.....I make us Turkey and tomato sandwiches for supper with the dessert,,,the next day we will have the dressing along side some fresh mashed potatoes and a green veggie for dinner.... There is always way too much food and when we had it at his Moms,,,,she always glad we took all we wanted home with us..Everyone always pitched in and brought a big pan of something and with eight families....there was never a shortage of anything. His Mom made the Turkey and Dressing,,the rest of us, made all the sides and desserts...

13. We are eating at 4:00 pm Although my family has started much earlier in years prior.
14. We're Italian, we start by ONE in the afternoon, and end about 7 p.m. with pastries and coffee. The turkey goes in the oven about 8 a.m.
15. We put appetizers out at 2p, and dinner starts at 4p and there is food out continuously until about 10pm. We eat buffet style a lot of the time, so that is what works for us.

19. We say it is gonna be late lunch at two, but then it never gets done till around 4:30 or so and so we munch and eat dinner at 5:00 pm followed by seconds at around 11pm.
20. For me, the ideal time for Thanksgiving dinner is at halftime of the first football game. Think about it.
