- Every year we make our Thanksgiving dinner the same it is like a tirdition. Then men always cook the turkey and the women cook the sweet potato, mash potatos, beans, and rolls. The kids are always running around outside playing football. So maybe you should try sticking to a tridition..?
- well we have a Breakfast casseole for bfast and for lunch Turducken (Turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with corn bread dressing) (you buy on-line or at a local specialty meat store), ham (heavenly ham from my sis), sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, homemade bread, carrot cake, pecan pie, and cheesecake... The green bean casserole is VERY easy: all you do is get 3 cans of the french green beans, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, and 1 can of the french onion rings(crunchy). just rub some butter along the bottom of a casserole dish and add the 3 cans of green beans (drain juice first). Open cream of mushroom soup and spread over the top. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 min. Take out of oven sprinkle the french onion rings on top and put back in the oven for 15 min Pecan Pie (just make sure you have ice cream!): First beat 3 eggs and add in 3/4 cups sugar. Melt 1/3 cup butter and add to eggs/sugar. Pour in 1 cup dark syrup (karo) and 1 teaspoon of vanille and mix. Chop up 1 cup of pecans and stir in...Pour mixture in 1 8-9in deep pie shell and place in oven at 350 for 1 hour!!
