- If you are careful before Thanksgiving and careful afterwards, you can eat a nice dinner and not upset your grandmother after she went 'all out' and made a great dinner.
- Yeah don't eat very much
- Drink lots of water and avoid the rooms with the food at all costs! (or binge and purge)
- Just watch the your portion and don't over eat. It's easy to get distracted and eat more than you really need at occassions like that. Just be conscious and stop when you are full.
- Eat small portions of everything - even if it means only 2 bites of dessert! Snack on cut up fruits or vegetables and water if you need to munch or still feel hungry. Good luck!!
- eat a lot of salad.. maybe tear off the skin of your turkey and no gravy on ur mash potatoes.. good luck! :)
- Eat small portions of everything, preferrably all day. You know, kind of like snack on this, snack on that, a little at a time throughout the day. Believe me, it helps. Don't overstuff yourself.
- Eat a snack before you go and tight jeans so you don't overstuff yourself. Get a plate, and don't pile it up and seat yourself away from the food so that you don't mindlessly much on things out of boredom. Turkey breast meat with the skin removed isn't that bad at all calorie wise. Just stay away from too much of anything starchy or casseroles that are most likely crammed with butter.
- A little of those foods will do you no harm. It's only if you eat rich stuff like that all the time. Eat a good breakfast that day, so you won't be starving when dinner begins. At dinner, take small portions, only. Don't eat until you are stuffed like the turkey, but push yourself away from the table before you get full.
- Have larger portions of the mainly vegetable, protein, and fruit choices... small portions of the buttery, creamy dishes.
