  1. Start with "Dear God", then say what you're thankful for. Try searching online for "prayers thanksgiving" and see what you get, too. Please capitalize properly in the future. I'd be thankful for that.
  2. try the psalms...also for yourself, it is like writing a letter to someone you know...
  3. Make a list of things you are thanksful for and give thanks to God for them. You can also read the Psalms for inspirstion. They are most uplifting. God Bless you in your endeavour.
  4. A Prayer Of Thanksgiving As I rise from sleep, I thank you, Holy Trinity, for because of your great goodness and patience, you were not angry with me, an idler and sinner, nor have you destroyed me in my sins, but have shown your usual love for me. And when I was prostrate in despair, you raised me to glorify with your power. Enlighten now my mind’s eye, open my mouth to study your words and understand your commandments, to do your will and sing to you in heartfelt adoration, and praise your most holy name, of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen. I pray this helps? God Bless
  5. do you mean like a published prayer for thanksgiving holiday? if not, you can write your own. what are you thankful/grateful for? what are you celebrating? that you're alive, healthy, good job, great family & friends, were not in an accident, got a great parking spot, a little extra money for when you really needed at the time? you passed an exam, the weather is good, there's food in the table, somebody helped you? i think prayer is a personal conversation with God. He already knows what is in our hearts and minds but He just wants to hear it said anyway. like if you gave your friend something, you know she likes it, but you'd still like to hear a thank you from her, right?
  6. Start with something like Dear, God and then think of something that has gone right in your life, like the protection of your family and/or try and think of something that has gone right in the world, like the people who served us in war to keep us safe. And then finish with Amen. Then the sign of the cross.
