I need help with a thanksgiving prayer example that i can say for dinner tonight?

I have my first home and my family is coming over for dinner. I want to be able to say the prayer of course since im the man of the house. Dont want to be imbarrased. So could someone give me something for a grown up thats nice and simple. I am a christian

1. Me and my three friends (All in our late 20's) have formed a team to help out our neighborhood. I wear a Jar Jar Binks costume and am the leader. Then there is the guy who wears the Grimace costume, he is the strong man. Then there is the guy who is a convicted sex offender, he wears a trenchcoat like the matrix. And lastly, their is "The Professional", he wears a cardboard Burgerking crown and a fake muscle suit. We walk around town and knock on random doors. When the person answers, I dance and do a Jar Jar quote, then make a loud screech with an air horn. While the person is reeling from the sound, the sex offender confesses that he is a sex offender (as required by his parole). Then the grimace throws some leaves and dirt into the persons house. And lastly, Muscle King plays 'me so horny' on his boombox and we dance. We have done this to hundreds of houses. Are we some kind of kings? I don't know how?
2. Use the one that was said at the first thanksgiving. Short and Sweet. by Edward Wisnlow in 1621: "And although it be not always so plentiful as it was at this time with us, yet by the goodness of God, we are so far from want that we often wish you partakers of our plenty."
3. What about a prayer from the psalms. A prayer of thanks? Even the Lord's prayer would be appropriate. What you would want to do is include thanks for friends and many blessings, seen and unseen. There are many prayers directly from the bible. As a Christian, God will guide you and teach you how you should pray. Just make it simple and straight from the heart.
4. Father, we come to you today with a greatful heart for the blessings we have received from You. Bless this food to the nourisment of our bodies in Jesus' name. Amen
5. Start by making a list of all the things you are thankful for. Ask our Holy Father into your new house, and thank him frankly, for all of these things He has made possible for you and your family. Hold hands, and say...Let us pray. Then, take a deep breath, and thank our father for being at the table He has set for us on this day. Thank Him for his Son's ultimate sacrifice on the cross, and for all of the (list) of things you have outlined. St. Francis of Assisi said: preach the gospel always and everywhere- and when necessary, use words.
6. May favorite has always been; "Grace." or "Good bread, good meat, Thanks God, now let's eat!" We come from a funny family and abide by it because it really does say it all! even if it is tongue and cheek!
7. Heavenly Father, on Thanksgiving Day We bow our hearts to You and pray. We give You thanks for all You've done Especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son. For beauty in nature, Your glory we see For joy and health, friends and family, For daily provision, Your mercy and care These are the blessings You graciously share. So today we offer this response of praise With a promise to follow You all of our days.
8. Personally i dont think that we should tell you how to pray. Its something that comes from the heart. If anything pray to God and the Holy Spirit will teach you to pray. But make it come straight from the heart and dont forget to be grateful. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
