- A tofu shaped turkey. With mashed green beans. Mashed peas. Mashed potatoes. Metamusil, is this menu for veterans?
- if you want to plan a vegetarian meal for Thanksgiving, i suggest that you make mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed vegetables, minestrone soup, maybe some Mac&cheese...anything is fine as long as its vegetarian. Me, as a personal vegetarian, I would really like it if someone had actually made me something vegetarian. Usually when i get invited to parties, its all turkey, and ham and stuff. A vegetarian meal would be great! If you want some more ideas you could always go to http://food.yahoo.com/ . They have some really great thanksgiving recipes this time of the year!

- You could have tofu, salad, macaroni, pasta salad, pasta, fruit salad, mashed potatoes, cheesy potatoes, pumpkin pie, green beans, corn, basically anything vegetarian for the main course, but try to have traditional sides.
- TOFURKEY!!
- I assume you mean a lacto ovo vegetarian - one who eats eggs and milk products. If you're talking about someone who's vegan - no animal products at all - I'm not as much help. But you may just want to ask them what they'd like - they probably have ideas! I was a vegetarian for about 15 years and my mother always made a small lasagna so I'd have a "main dish" instead of turkey. Honestly, Thanksgiving was one of the days I didn't have much trouble with as a vegetarian - there's usually so much food, including lots of vegetable dishes, that I could have had my fill without one "main dish." Homemade stuffing is generally vegetarian - just be sure to cook some in a casserole dish instead of in the turkey if that's how you usually prepare it. If you need to add stock to something, vegetable stock is a good substitute.
- Tofurky, it`s textured soy protein prepared and flavoured like real turkey. Baked yams with pecans. Baked potatoes with the skin on seasoned with celerey seed. Baked spinach, tomato, and light feta cheese flatbread. Sauteed portebello mushrooms and snowpeas. Saffron and coriander bannock. Baked sweet pastries filled with chopped pistachios or chopped hazelnuts and sweetened condensed milk, sealed, and coated with golden corn syrup. Baked chocolate chip merigue cookies. Baked gingerbread cookies made with golden corn syrup, blackstrap molasses, chopped ginger, and equal parts of ground cinnamon, ground clove, and ground allspice.
