What is on your ThanksGiving Day Menu?

I am putting together a list of foods to have at ThanksGiving.. But Im Tired of it always being the same basic items every year. I was wondering what others are planning to have this year. Maybe this will help me find some new foods to try serving!!

  1. nothing, I will have to work more than likely so I haven't planned on a menu really.
  2. Swanson frozen turkey dinner
  3. try fish, stuffed with tomatoes and onions. also try squash with shrimp. and some of the old stuff like mashed potatoes etc. good luck! =]
  4. I don't know. I have to figure out what place to crash on. Where should I go ? To my mother's house ? To my brother's house ? He probably will go to my mother's house. To my best friend's house ? She will go to her mother's house. Shall I go to your house ? Probably I will be one of those anti-thanksgiving celebrants...just stay home watching the thanksgiving day parade or a movie eating popcorn and junk food. Cooking ? I don't want to cook that day. So much food wasted ...why eat and drink so much ? Why do I have to feed abunch of vultures ? I have been doing that for years...now it's my turn to drop by at other people houses. Yeah ...don't cook anything ...drop by at dinner time at somebody house.
  5. Our traditional Thanksgiving meal is Cornish hens stuffed with shrimp & scallop dressing, mashed potatoes & giblet gravy, green beans, sweet potato souffle, mac & cheese, cranberry sauce, and homemade rolls. For dessert, sweet potato pie and coconut cake.
  6. Appetizers: pepperoni bread, spinach dip with bread & veggies, pigs in a blanket Dinner: turkey, gravy, stuffing, string bean casserole, corn, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes with apples, bread Dessert: pumpkin cheesecake, apple cake, cherry pie, rhubarb pie If you are looking for variations on the traditional meal, look at www.foodtv.com. They have menues for an Italian inspired Thanksgiving, as well as a Southern holiday, and then just modified recipes so that you get a variety each year instead of the same thing.
