Where to go in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving dinner?

My family is visiting me from the east coast, and I'd like to take them to dinner on Thanksgiving (which also happens to be my birthday as well!) They're into fine dining, so price isn't an issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (Oh, they'll be staying in Beverly Hills, so keeping the restaurant in that general area would be preferred, but isn't a requirement).

  1. Spago if price is no object, but make your reservation now. For something homier, there's Nate N Als.
  2. Great fine dining places in Beverly Hills are: Spago, Mastro's Steakhouse. I've always wanted to try Simon LA but haven't had the chance. Some of them have special thanksgiving menus, you can check the list at Open table (link below). For Italian there's Il Pastaio. Moving away from Beverly Hills, there Providence on Melrose (my fave french). I also really like Grace. Josie's is also pretty good and more for older crowd if you're looking for that. Oh, oh, actually, you know what would be an AWESOME place? The Bel Air Hotel ! :D
  3. I would recommend Lawry's the Prime Rib. It's a classic restaurant that would be absoultely perfect for Thanksgiving. I would hurry though because their holiday reservations sell out pretty quickly. It's on La Cienega Boulevard. Morton's is also down the street from them--they're a steakhouse. Otherwise, many of the hotels in Beverly Hills put on some beautiful buffets for Thanksgiving, you might look at your own hotel too. Good luck
  4. there arnt that many places i would better suggest a home made meal there the best.
  5. Lawrys is a great choice for a thanksgiving dinner or if your staying in that area I'm sure you could find something really good at the beverly hilton or even the Palms
