- Never tried it, however it sounds tasty. I would not put it into a toaster unless it is one of those toaster ovens. If you bake it, bake it at about 350 for 10-15 minutes. I would also add gravy because unless you add tons of butter it sounds a bit dry.
- Martha Stewart makes a similar casserole with leftover gravy poured over it. If it's the cinnamon that is worrying you, I'd try it--you might be pleasantly surprised. I make one with the stuffing, turkey, gravy and some Swiss cheese. I likes it.
- I don't know about that recipe but if your woried, let me tell you that my aunt,Joanne made the most magical soup from Thanksgiving left overs years ago.We had both had way to much wine, scraped all of the leftovers, everything into a big soup pot, poured in the left over wine and boiled it for a couple of hours, with turkey stockI think it was 4 in the am.So amazing the next day, nothing like it ever.So be free like a butterfly,or butterball, have a great season,D.
- I'd leave out the cinnamon. But I don't like it in anything but baking. I've never had any main dish with it that I've liked so far.
