- Before I answer... is dairy okay? Or is it strictly vegan?
- you can still have potatoes
- If you are having guests, I would have the traditional turkey or you'll probably find if you ever want to invite them again they'll all have previous engagements. It's great to be a vegetarian, but it's pushing it to try to inflict it on others. Kind of like inviting people over and then ambushing them with a lecture on your religion.
- What if I suggest a website that has it all for you? Here it is.
- Try some stuffed eggplants, or a cashew loaf, or grilled prtabella mushrooms with onions and sherry sauce. Of course, do the mashed potatoes, with cream gravy, or onion gravy for vegans, cranberry sauces, baked apples stuffed with pecans and raisins and brown sugar. There are tons of side dishes and desserts. Have fun experimenting.
- I went to one Thanksgiving dinner--tofu turkey, tofu pumpkin pie, and potatoes and peas and corn. It was horrible! If it is just for your family-fix all the goodies and just leave the turkey out. If it's for guests-please do not do it to them.
- some ideas.... Pumpkin Ravioli Corn Casserole Green Beans Yams Stuffed Squash Brussel Sprouts Pumpkin Soup Cranberries Mashed Potatoes also you can make meat-like dishes using tofu, tempeh, or seitan
- type vegaterian menu in the search line, and you will find many suggestions. Happy Thanksgiving
