Are you going to remember the Lord this Thanksgiving? And give God thanks for all the Grace we have received?

In all things give thanks for this pleases God. My Thanksgiving thanks is: Thank you Lord that even though my husband is sick & I am staying home with him, I can cook the Turkey Thanksgiving dinner myself & have healing time with my husband. Thank you Lord that I can be with my family back in my home town & my family elsewhere this Thanksgiving in my memories. Thank you Lord that even though my daughter (in her last month of pregnancy) has to work in the hospital four days/12hr shifts in a row this Thanksgiving, you are going to answer my prayer request that you send sufficient Winged Angel hospital nurses to help all patients & that healing & physical patient ability will improve greatly so all will have much to be thankful for even in the hospital. Thank you Lord for my husband making the decision (asking for prayers from family for strength) to quit drinking alcohol. That he will he able to quit drinking & liver heal above & beyond all expectations this New Year. Moe, Then just be thankful for what you have to be thankful for. It is Thanksgiving after all. Just give a little thanks from your soul. You don't have to be religious to be thankful for the good things. st alio, That is sad that you (& other answers on here) won't thank God who blessed you with all these people & pets in your life. Pendolino, It doesn't matter. Go purchase a turkey, yams, potatoes, pumpkin pie, etc... Get a dinner going. You can celebrate Thanksgiving with US. That goes for the rest of you who live in another country. And if there isn't the funds, you can just Thank God for all the things to be thankful in your life. It is the spirit of Thanksgiving that is important. az bandi, Today is different, even if you thank God everyday. Others are thinking about what to be thankful for today also. So? That makes it different. Because of the unity in Thanksgiving. With so many people. But I know that a special prayer should go out for those who are alone & depressed today. Because also, suicide rates can go up during the Holidays. So? To all the lonely people out there, may God bless you especially with 'joy' this Thanksgiving. The Joy of the Lord is our strength. syntax error, God gave you the ability to make the money to pay for the food. So? Thank God for the grace to provide good food.
