I want some great Thanksgiving recipes! Anyone want to share?

Looking for some good things to make for Thanksgiving this year since I'm spending it with family I haven't seen in 20 years. Anyone have any good ones they want to share. This would also be a good way to share the wealth with others. P*ssy - You're just a little bit reported. That was completey uncalled for. Thought I would share one of my favorite deserts: Lush 1 cup crushed pecans or walnuts 1 cup flour 1stick margarine (softened) 1 package of cream cheese (softened) 1 tub of whipped cream 1 cup powdered sugar 2 regular size packages of pudding ( I use chocolate, butterscotch, or lemon) 3 cups milk Preheat the oven to 350. In a mixing bowl add your nuts (hehe), margarine and flour. Use your hands and mix well! Press this down into the bottom of a 9x13 or smaller pan (if I go with a 9x13, I usually add double the nuts, flour and margarine). Bake till the edges are golden brown. Cool completely! Next is the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and one cup of the whipped cream, set the rest aside. Blend these three really well and spread over your crust. The crust is really flaky! Next, mix together your 2 boxes of pudding and 3 cups of milk. and spread on top. Put in the fridge till set. Top it off with the rest your whipped cream!

  1. For dessert, try short bread. -2 cups flour -1/2 cup sugar -2 sticks butter/margarine Preheat to 325'. Wash your hands really well and take off all jewelry, you're going to get messy! Put all of your ingredients into a big mixing bowl, reach in and start squishing! (This is great to have kids help with) When all of the ingredients are well mixed, spread the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish that's been lightly greased and bake for 20-30 minutes or until the top is a light golden color. Take it out and before it starts cooling, you can use a fork to poke holes in the top or just leave it as is. Let cool and cut into squares. For something a bit different, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar or serve with fruit jam. (They can also be made as cookies instead of bars.)
  2. Hi Firey, I reported that one also.Get a really good cream puff recipe but do not make cream puffs Use it to make cheese puffs cheese garlic powder etc. I will try to find my recipe and get back to you.
  3. Fresh Cranberry Sauce (you'll never buy canned again!): one bag (~16 oz) fresh cranberries 2 cups orange juice (or water for less tart sauce) 1-2 cups sugar (to taste) 1 stick Cinnamon dash of nutmeg 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Rinse berries in water & place in pot. Add OJ & water just to cover. Add sugar, cinnamon, & nutmeg. Boil until nearly all berries have split (don't get juice on anything you don't want stained red!). Refridgerate at least 24 hours. Mix in walnuts, serve. Many variations are possible, experiment to find what you like, all of which are far better than canned CS.
