  1. There are two that my family begs me to bring. Sweet Potato Casserole With Praline Topping The streusel is both stirred into the casserole and sprinkled on top. 1 cup all-purpose flour 2/3 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted 1/4 cup stick margarine, melted 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and halved (about 2 1/2 pounds) 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 large egg white 1 (5-ounce) can fat-free evaporated milk Cooking spray Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring to form a streusel. Set aside. Place potatoes in a Dutch oven; add water to cover. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes or until very tender. Drain well; mash in a large bowl. Stir in 1 cup streusel, granulated sugar, vanilla, egg white, and milk. Spoon into a 2-quart casserole coated with cooking spray; top with remaining streusel. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Yield: 8 servings (serving size: 3/4 cup) CALORIES 376(21% from fat); FAT 8.8g (sat 1.4g,mono 4.1g,poly 2.6g); PROTEIN 5.4g; CHOLESTEROL 1mg; CALCIUM 97mg; SODIUM 115mg; FIBER 3.8g; IRON 1.9mg; CARBOHYDRATE 70.1g Cooking Light, NOVEMBER 1997 JIFFY CORN CASSEROLE I use light ingredients for this (1 egg and 1 egg white or egg beaters and I cut the amount of butter in half and use light butter. You can't tell the difference. 2 eggs 1 can cream style corn 1 can whole kernal corn 1 c. cornbread mix (Jiffy) Salt & pepper to taste 1/2 cup light butter such as land o lakes 1/2 cup light sour cream Combine all other ingredients and pour into casserole with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.

CREAMY PUMPKIN PIE 1 c. pumpkin 1/2 c. condensed milk 1 box vanilla instant pudding & pie filling 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice 8 oz. thawed Cool Whip 1 graham cracker crust Combine pumpkin, milk, pudding mix and pumpkin pie spice. Blend on low speed for 1 minute. Fold in 2 1/2 cups of whipped cream. Spoon into crust. Freeze for 24 hours. Top with remaining whipped topping.

  4. Stuffing Balls: 1 lb. Ground pork 1 pkg. (6 oz.) Stove Top Stuffing for Chicken ¾ cup cranberry sauce 1 egg 1 cup water ¼ cup melted butter Preheat oven to 325° F. Brown meat; drain. Combine with dry stuffing mix in large bowl. Stir in cranberry sauce, egg and water. Shape mixture into 16 balls. Place balls on foil-covered baking sheet; brush balls with melted butter. Bake 20 min. Makes 8 servings 2 balls each. And Baked Corn: 2 cups corn 1 cup milk 2/3 cup bread crumbs 3 Tbsp melted butter ½ tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1 Tbsp sugar 2 eggs Preheat oven to 350°. Mix all ingredients. Put into greased casserole. Bake 40 min.

  6. my best thanksgiving dish is baked sweet potatos to make use 2 cans sweetpotatos 1 bag marshmellows [small ones 1 bag brown sugar and 1/4 cube butter...put potatto in small cake pan put marshmellows on top of potatos sugar on top of that .cut butter into pieces on top .. bake 350 degrees 30 uncovered and 25 covered with foil... take out of oven...will be hot .... serve with turkey 'dinner or ham dinner enjoy

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole From: Campbell's Kitchen Prep Time: 10 minutes Bake Time: 30 minutes Serves: 12 Ingredients: 2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (regular or 98% Fat Free) 1 cup milk 2 tsp. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper 8 cups cooked cut green beans 2 2/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions Directions: 1. Stir soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, beans and 1 1/3 cups onions in 3-qt. casserole. 2. Bake at 350°F. for 25 min. or until hot. Stir. 3. Top with remaining onions. Bake for 5 min. more. TIP: For a festive touch, stir in 1/2 cup chopped red pepper with soup. Green Bean Casserole Cheese lovers: Omit soy sauce. Stir in 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese with soup. Sprinkle additional cheese as desired when topping with onions. My family loves this casserole!
  8. I would have to say my favorite deserts is banana pudding. You put your 2 vanilla pudding mix in a large bowl add 6 cups of cold milk beat for 2 minutes, Add half of a container of whip cream whip an additional minute. line a baking dish with vanilla wafers, cut up 2 bananas in small circles line them evenly around. pour a thin layer of pudding and repeat until your heart is content. add the rest of the whip cream to the top and refrigerate for 1 hour. that makes 12 1/2 cup servings.
